We went to see Harvey this morning. He was feeling a little better, so maybe the new meds are helping some. His cough was better. He was still on oxygen, but he did know who we were this morning, and greeted me when I hugged him, saying, “I love you.” To say that meant the world is the understatement of the century. He was worried, though, about someone coming and taking his pictures down off the wall. We assured him that no one was planning to do that. He then started demanding his shoes because he wanted to go out to the shop and put the tractor away…

I told you about cutting the back pockets off my old, too-large jeans and sewing them on a sweatshirt. I finished it this morning.

I just came home from sketching at the cafe, and I timed it perfectly. I got home, got my clothes off the drying rack on my balcony, and the rain started. It’s pouring now, and I’m comfortable and dry. 😁

I’m glad you liked the spiral. Yes, it was a better visit today with Harvey. We needed that. I’m glad you liked the pockets on the sweatshirt. Yeah, I’m to the point where I’m going to start eating more to stay in the 3 pound range I want as a healthy weight. Thanks for noticing, but the sweatshirt DOES go OVER whatever else I’m wearing kind of like a sweater, so it needs to be large. I’m feeling pretty psychic today, having gotten home RIGHT before the rain started. Talk to me again when I get caught in it and come home drenched! :0)
