It seems strange to celebrate Halloween without Trick or Treating, dressing up, etc., but I had a wonderful time creating and giving out the Halloween cards, so that is great. I know that a lot of you will celebrate Halloween tomorrow, and I hope you and your families have a wonderful time.

I went to the cafe this afternoon as usual. My spot was taken, so I sat along the side window and prepared to get started. Soon after my latte arrived, the blond server came and pointed to the front, pantomiming that my spot was now free and helped me move! Is this special or what? I can’t believe they are so very nice to me. Anyway, I spent the rest of the time in “MY” spot, comfortable and sketching. A really young, very pretty lady stopped and smiled, pointing to my sketch of the otters. 😁🦦

I did well at the gym this morning, bumping the incline up to 10%. I’m going to see if I can bump it to 12 tomorrow, and then will see if I can get to 12 quickly and keep it there for my mile. I’m feeling good. I can feel the challenge, but no sore muscles, no tiredness, just feeling like I used my time well. 💪🏻🚶♀️
