We had the best visit in a long, long time with my husband this morning. I saw the man I married for a brief glimpse and it was truly wonderful. He liked my blouse. He liked my haircut. He said his favorite painting on his happy wall was the one I painted for our 57th anniversary. (The one to the left of the Calvin & Hobbes painting.) He said a lot of other stuff that didn’t make sense, but I can live on this for quite a while.

This is the painted sketch I finished today, plus 4 more Christmas cards.
Because of Heidi’s and my conversation yesterday which included how wonderful all the butterflies were in Chiang Mai, plus Sheila’s comment about butterflies, I’m starting a new series, where I do a regular sketch, but then add one of the butterflies of Chiang Mai to the drawing. We’ll see how it goes and what you think.

Women’s Health
Please say a prayer or have a good thought for my former hair stylist, Michael, who had a stroke a few days ago. We hope he recovers quickly and well and can return to work sometime soon.
