The Ugly American (UA) is definitely messing with me. He was at the door of the gym this morning, being let in by the Thai guy. They shook hands as Brian was using his QR code to open the door. UGH. AND, not only that, he came and got onto the treadmill right next to mine again. I am trying to redouble my efforts to tune him out. I don’t like it when I have to hold onto the handle bars of the treadmill because I’m trying so hard NOT to pay attention to him…

These are the sketches I finished yesterday –
Harvey’s birthday isn’t until November, but I got the idea of a pineapple upside down cake in my head and decided to go ahead and get his birthday painting on paper. I’ll tear it out of my sketchbook and put it in my flattening area under books until it’s time to take it.
This is the painting I’m taking for Harvey’s Happy Wall Saturday. We made this decoration out of sheet metal for our mailbox in AR. Harvey was proud of it because it was all cut out, rather than a picture, and he used actual rod for the Roadrunner’s legs.

I’ve been getting ready for my housekeeper to come tomorrow, doing what is required plus I’ve also gone through a few areas to clean up and reorganize. I’m happy to tell you that I’m definitely starting to feel a difference in my energy level since lowering my thyroid dosage. We’re still waiting to hear from my doctor, because we lowered the dosage significantly, but not as much as everything we’ve read suggests is right for my 44 pound weight loss since I came to Thailand. I’m hoping she will okay a dosage significantly lower than the one I’m taking now. It’s good not to feel so whipped out. I’m going to get ready to go to the cafe soon.
