I’ve had a good morning. We went to the gym and shared breakfast as usual. Then I did something I’ve never done before – I didn’t sleep well last night, having to take a Tylenol-type pill in the middle of the night, so I was tired and sleepy. When I got back to my place, I turned off the air filters, opened all the windows, turned on the fan, and took a nap.
I felt MUCH better when I woke up, more ready to face the day. I closed everything up again, turned on the a/c and did a good, long session of yoga stretches.
And finally, I gave myself the treat of rereading a story by I.L. Williams about a girl and her dog. It got me emotionally the same way it did the first time. I.L. Williams is quite a storyteller. She draws you in immediately, makes you care.

These are the latest painted sketches.
I’m going to add the details to some Christmas cards I started yesterday and then choose what to tackle next on drawings. I have several wonderful or challenging choices to try. I’ll spend part of the afternoon at the cafe, enjoying a latte and sketching.

Yay, Linda! The axolotl sketch is amazing!! I may try one too, at some point. I am working on a couple that my husband originally drew. We’ll see. Kind of hard. Glad I got pencils and erasers now (thanks to you)!
What was up with you needing a Tylenol? That’s odd, eh?

I’m glad you thought the axolotl sketch turned out okay. I would be lost without my pencils and very large erasers! I’m not sure what the deal was. I was just aching and couldn’t get into a comfortable position. The Tylenol type stuff did the trick . I’m glad I only need it rarely.
