______________

My weather here is supposed to be quite rainy here today. (100% chance, according to my phone.) “Heavy rain warning. Rainy conditions will continue all day.”

Earthwise Windows

Nevertheless, it’s really nice now, so I have my windows open and am enjoying the breezes. Everything is getting aired out after having a long space when I’ve had to have everything closed, so my spirits are lifting as the breezes blow through. I’ll keep a watchful eye on things so I can leap up and close everything up, if needed.

I received my new puzzle yesterday afternoon! Woo Hoo!

I’m just starting to try to put the border together. With the snafu on the previous puzzle order, it’s been a while since I got to work on a puzzle, so it’s good to be able to dive in again. I just love this chameleon!

Here are my latest painted sketches –

I saw a plant whose leaves looked like elephant heads to me, so I did this sketch.

“Elephant plant” – MY name for it. I don’t know what the real name is.

This little guy is dressed up in his new cowboy gear.

I’ll do water bottle exercises this afternoon. I’ll also practice my guitar chords (and croaking, aka singing), read some more of my book, see if I can get a start on my puzzle, and more.

Happy Day!

  1. Sweet!! On all the levels, Linda. It’s going to be 91 degrees here today and tomorrow and sunny! It’s finally summer! LOL

It will rain and turn cooler after that. Enjoy the breeze my friend!

  2. Ah, yes, Linda. We have a small window AC unit and it’s on already for the day. Thankfully, when they added this apartment on to the house decades ago, it got a lot more insulation in its walls versus what’s in the walls of the house. So, our temp stays fairly even inside. I just went out to do my weeding and such of the plants and will probably stay inside most of the day. Isn’t it funny how humans prefer such a moderate range of temperature? Richard had his long sleeves on in here last night and I was sweating. It was 77 degrees inside the apartment! Ha!

    • I find that as I age, the temperature range at which I am comfortable narrows more and more. I’m constantly turning my a/c up, down, or off, and the same with my fans. Keeps me moving, though 🤣
