Thanks to my good friend Sheila Murrey we now know that the gorgeous blooming tree I was talking about a couple of days ago is called “Peacock Flower,” “Pride of Barbados,” and “Dwarf Poinciana.” The only thing different out the one I was pointing out is that the center cluster in mine is yellow and the spent flowers are more orange. The tree is stunning and the spent blooms grab my attention each time we pass it. THANK YOU, Sheila.

My wonderful son treated me to a mani/pedi this morning. Both he and my husband were remarking that I needed work, so this morning was the morning. Now I am sparkly green! I’m still looking for sparkly ‘cyan’ to please my son, but I only saw a pale sparkly blue, not the more turquoise shade I was looking for. Anyway, I’ve never had this color before, so I’m grinning from ear to ear as I share my ‘elegance.’ We’ll show Harvey Saturday.

We are planning to spend time at the cafe today, and I’ll try to get started on the sketch for the water gun that also shoots LED lights that Harvey expressed interest in to go on his wall. I’m REALLY out of my comfort zone on this, but I’ll just do the best I can and hope for the best. I’m supposed to take it to him Saturday.

These are my two latest sketches.

Can you see the Cheetah? Oh, come on, you can if you look carefully. Look on the left side of the photo toward the bottom, and you can see the tip of his foot. That’s the ONLY part of him that is anywhere on the border of the puzzle. Needs work, I know…. hahahahahahahah 🧩 😂

Bamboo Garden Yoga
Today is yoga stretches. I’m looking forward to a nice long session where I can loosen everything up.

Enjoy your day. The peacock flowers are stunning.
It’s been a long me wearing nail varnish. But I have wore that colour before. I still like that colour. I have some nail varnish left. But I don’t think I have that colour in many I that I have left.

I’m glad you like the peacock flowers, Liz. I haven’t ever had a manicure before coming to Thailand, so I am enjoying “playing ” with the colors. I LOVE the sparkly ones!😁

Ohh Linda! I LOVE that green polish on your fingernails and toenails!! And look how straight your toes are (unlike my left big toe that’s hanging down!)
Doc made improvements in my toes yesterday, and my left big toe is hanging down less than it was, but it was doing some clicking thing when I would try to lift it. That’s gone now! It still won’t lift, but some movement is progress so I am hopeful! I now know it’s a nerve issue! There’s actually ONE nerve that controls the big toe and second toe, the inner portions of those two only! Hard to believe knowing how many bones that are in our feet! I feel like our feet, eyes, ears, and brain are the most complicated body parts we have! Ha!
Well, I am saving these two cute sketches to try also. Fun! And yes, I see a bit of cheetah! Ha!

I’m having SO much fun choosing wonderful sparkly colors for my fingernails and toenails now that I’m a lady of leisure here in Thailand. I’m interested to see if Harvey likes the green! I’m glad the doc improved your toes. Here’s hoping the next appointment does the trick. All appendages crossed for that, including my eyes. 🤞

I hope Harvey loves that color too, Linda. Yes! Yay! Crossing appendages (and eyes)! Ha! You’re a hoot!

p.s. cyan is my new favorite color since 2016 or so and was the color my sister Christina show up as (wrote about in my blog post, That Little Blue Dot that became a book, Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection.) ahhhh!!

Hopefully next time I can find a sparkly closer to the cyan I want.
