We had a challenging morning.
What should have been a half hour appointment at the most, with blood being drawn, talking with the doctor, and paying the bill, was actually 2-1/2 hours, with us trying to keep my husband calm. Our appointment was at 10. We showed up about 9:45. Harvey’s blood had already been drawn and he was hungry, but didn’t want the pie Brian had brought. He looked at his watch, then the clock on the wall, and then Brian’s watch over and over and over the whole time we were there. The doctor was over an hour late, took a half hour to say what could have been said in 30 seconds, and we were finally on our way. It took a while to get the paperwork we needed and pay the bill, getting the right paperwork to Khun Pim and the right paperwork to us, but we finally did it. We were exhausted by the time we got home. Harvey wanted us to ask the ambulance people to stop at a burger place on the way back to the nursing home and buy him a burger and fries. He was teed off when we told him we couldn’t ask them to do that. He finally calmed down when Brian asked what he wanted when he got back to the nursing home. Harvey said a pizza, so when we got confirmation that Harvey had arrived safely, Brian ordered one delivered to him. We got a picture later from Pim showing Harvey enjoying the pizza. Whew!

Today was a quiet day otherwise. I’m just back from the cafe. Here is my latest sketch –

To my untrained eye, it looks like the street crew is tearing up the same stretch of street they already worked on and doing something else. It was very noisy today, but thankfully was relatively quiet last night. I slept well, actually waking up a bit before my alarm went off. I did well at the gym, walking my mile without holding on to the handlebars at all and feeling steady for the first time in a while. 😁

I was doing research today, so didn’t actually accomplish that much, but had an interesting time finding wonderful things plus learning a few things.
I’m going to try to do my blog posts for the day before Brian texts me for dinner.
