Right now it’s 74 degrees F. (can you imagine that!). It’s cloudy and spitting rain, but not enough to even get my windows wet. I’ve turned off my air filters and opened the windows wide, turning on my fan to get the most glorious cross-breeze throughout my little place. What a wonderful start to a day!

For some reason I kept waking up last night, so I don’t feel rested. I don’t feel BAD at all, just as if a nap may be part of my day today. Brian gave me some Melatonin to try, taking one before bed this evening and seeing if that helps.

We ate the fruit we received – eating fruit ‘like monkeys’ according to Brian, so all we have left now is apple slices. He is going to order something for me to eat at lunch. Eating around noon is really helping with my hunger. I lost the one pound I had gained from that, so I’m back to wanting to gain a couple of pounds to be in the middle of my new maintenance weight range.

The puzzle is finished! I finished it yesterday. Brian is already grousing about having to take a picture of it and get a glass print of it made, but he did ask to make sure I have the new puzzle. :0)

I will enjoy running my hands over the finished puzzle – have you noticed how GOOD they feel? – until Brian has gotten the picture we need, and then I’ll take it apart and donate it.

Ah. I had to stop and close the windows and turn the air filters and A/C on It’s raining in earnest now, but since I have the new windows with the new seals, I can look out and SMILE, rather than grabbing the bucket and towels to sop up the water coming in and running down the walls. The ‘Bucket Brigade’ is officially retired!!!! Now the SOUND of the rain is making me sleepy…

Today will be a quiet, wonderful day. I’ll do all my usual stuff, taking my time and enjoying every minute. I wish that you could be here with me, enjoying it, too!
