I wrote an article for Substack earlier today about missing having a fall season here in Chiang Mai, memories from Arkansas, and my sketches. It’s called, “Happy Fall, Ya’ll – I Miss It Here in Thailand – Favorite Things – Memories – My Sketches – Fall in Thailand”

Gym session was good – a small notch up in speed while not having to hold on to the handlebars. Lunch was another winner – chicken, salad, small apple slices, and multi-kind rice. I stored the rice for later if I need it and enjoyed the rest.

While I went to the cafe, Brian went to the mall to get new glasses. It’s really different here. I’m not sure of the details, but it sounded like he went, got examined for the correction he needed, and the new glasses made while he waited – about an hour. Amazing. He’s says they’re much better.

I have an appointment to get my hair cut tomorrow morning! My hair has gotten past the “riffle it with my fingers and go” stage, so I’m happy I’ll be ‘healed’ tomorrow.
