Central Chiangmai Airport (historically known as Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport or Airport Plaza) is a prominent five-story shopping and entertainment complex located just south of the Old City. Known as a “locals’ favorite,” it blends major international retail brands with an authentic focus on northern Thai (Lanna) identity, making it a popular “first and last stop” for travelers flying in or out of the region.
It has 533 shops, an aquarium, games arcades, and ‘Major Cineplex” cinema.
Chiang Mai’s oldest shopping mall, you’ll find a food court on the ground level plus a Thai style market (The Northern Village) selling traditional goods, local handicrafts.
With shops sprawling over several floors, popular shops at Central Chiang Mai Airport include Nike, Esprit, Uniqlo and Mango in addition to Robinson Department Store and Tops Foodhall. Flagship stores are Nike, Uniqlo, Esprit, and Mango.

Very very big. I bet I would get lost in there.
Yeah. I much prefer the little shops. Sometimes we have to go to the malls, but we only go to the place we know has what we want, get it, and then leave.
I agree with Liz. I would probably get lost in such a large place. I admire people who just do it and keep going. ( Donna)
I’ve never liked big places or crowds, so I am really impressed with things like this, but don’t want to spend any more time here than I have to to get what I need.
