“Sunrise over Lake Superior from Grand Marais” – Bryan Hansel – Substack
Isn’t this glorious?
______________
Brian is trying really hard NOT to get sick, so we didn’t go to the gym this morning. He is resting and loading up on Vitamin C. We shared a Thai breakfast this morning of a rice porridge dish called, “Joke,” a combination of rice, chicken and nice spices all mortared and pesteled into a nice dish. We had a side of watermelon. I’m not sure if we’ll go to the cafe this afternoon or not.

This is for everybody, but especially for Donna, who takes almost as much interest in the puzzles as I do. The border doesn’t show here, except for the black part under the cheetah.

I’m moving from guitar practice, to puzzle, to blog post, to painting and then back again. It’s been a very nice morning. I will plan on adding my exercises with water bottles this afternoon since we opted out on the gym this morning.

So, Brian is being cautious? Hopefully not experiencing any symptoms. And maybe also being careful for you as well? I was wondering if something may be happening again. My daughter and her boss both lost their voice last week, so I also boosted my vitamin C, zinc, and vitamin D.
We went out to lunch the day before yesterday and only ate one meal that entire day. Then yesterday we ate our leftovers. Again only had the one meal. We are trying the one meal a day type of diet to see if it helps us lose weight.
I love that the cheetah is emerging so fast! Wow!
Wonderful job rotating between all your projects, Linda!

Brian slept off and on all day and will rest tonight, hopefully feeling better in the morning. I told him to opt out on the gym tomorrow if he still wasn’t feeling well. He had a bit of a scratchy throat, but the Vitamin C seems to have already taken care of that. Wow, I don’t think I could do the one meal a day thing. If it works for you, that’s great. I hope you don’t get sick. So far, I’m not experiencing anything, and had a good day here. The cheetah puzzle is much easier than the turtle so far. (knock on wood). I’m enjoying putting him together. I think it’s a magnificent photo.

Oh, I hear you, Linda. Very good. I felt better today too. No hint anymore of anything. I haven’t talked with my daughter, so not sure how she’s feeling, but heard her go to work today.
Glad the cheetah is easier than the turtle was, as you said, so far!

We went to the gym this morning and went to the cafe for part of the afternoon, so Brian is better today. I’m glad to hear you’re better, as well.

What an absolutely glorious sunrise!
Wishing peace and healing for your son. May he be well with continued good health. A Mother’s love and concern will, no doubt, help him, too.
The cheetah puzzle is looking amazing. I am so excited every time I see what you have accomplished on your puzzles. I can hardly wait to see the finished product of your patience in putting the puzzle together. I know you will be happy to see it as well, and to run your hands over the completed puzzle with such joy, pleasure and happiness. I can only imagine. Carry on and keep posting, and I will keep watching. Thank you for sharing. (Donna)

Thank you, Donna. I think that photo is one of the best I have ever seen. A real spirit lifting image. Bryan Hansel is very talented. Brian basically slept off and on all day. I told him to opt out of the gym again tomorrow unless he felt a lot better. The Vitamin C seems to have taken away the scratchy throat symptom. Hopefully he started taking that quickly enough he’ll be back to normal soon. I love the cheetah puzzle. I just love the photo. I think it’s magnificent. I’m having a great time working on it.
