I LOVE scrap metal art. It always evokes an emotional response. I want to run my hands over the turtle’s shell. I gawk at the fish. And I grin at the moose. The creativity shown in these amazes me. People ‘see’ an image when one piece or another grabs their interest, and the emerging comes from there. Just fascinating.

Can you imagine the mind of the artist who sees the mismatched pieces with the physical eyes, yet grasps their perfectly joined destiny in the mind’s eye? Blows my mind.

It blows my mind too. My husband and I did some of that, creating the ‘critters’ we had all over our yard and down the driveway, but NOTHING anywhere NEAR the caliber of these.
