As for the fear in the those dogs over a cat, I have witnessed that myself before. There was one particular cat me and my mum once had that my two dogs were scared of.
My dogs I owned were one that was whippet cross Labrador. The other was a border collie. My border collie was the youngest and learnt the hard way. He was very lucky not to be blinded as she caught him right in the eyeliner. Did he learn from that? No. She did it again the next day after that. Same eye. But he was quicker to get out of the way after then.
At least he finally learned before he was blinded. I’ve never seen a whippet cross labrador. I know what each looks like. What did the combo look like?
He was size of a whippet and had that body shape of a whippet. And the coat of a Labrador.
When I had him, the person wasn’t sure what he may be crossed with when I picked him up as a pup. So I bet this was an accidental pregnancy. But she had suspicions of two types of dogs. I can’t remember whippet being mentioned at the time. But she mentioned Labrador which was her dog. And I can remember the cross possible a spaniel. But he had no traits of a spaniel in him. There was no long hair anywhere.
But when he ran, I could see the shape of a whippet. And he did run
I love those last two. 😂😂😂😂

I’m glad you liked them. I had two ‘vicious’ pitts, one at a time, and they were the sweetest dogs I’ve ever had.
