It’s kind of sad to think about all the beautiful things ending, but it’s reality I guess. I am enjoying Fall here in New England, and I wasn’t sure I’d ever say that! It helps that Fall and all of its colors are one of my daughter’s favorite things.

I agree with your daughter. It’s a final glow that’s breathtaking. A last hurrah. I can never decide if I like fall or spring best, though. I LOVE all the beginnings in spring with things waking up, greening up, and spreading their wings.

I hear you, Linda. I think I prefer Spring too, for all the reasons you mentioned. I love watching ferns open up! They are so unique!

There’s a fern here that closes on your finger when you touch it – kind of like a snapdragon!

It is! We actually found some in a children’s’ play area. Brian threatened to leave me there if I didn’t quit “abusing” the sweet little plant making it close over and over😜😛
