First of all, hello. I apologize for not posting for several days. I couldn’t even tell you what was going on. For those of you who came to my site, all it said was, “Private” or something to that effect.
What was happening was a good thing. My son figured out a way to compress images already used on the site so that they took a LOT less storage. This qualified me for a much cheaper fee to the host, saving me 2/3 of the amount I have been paying. He handled the correspondence to WordPress and the changes began.
They finished this morning and now we are ‘public’ again!!!! HOOORAAAAAY! Writing posts for the blog is such an important thing to me. I’ve been so frustrated not being able to share anything with you – PLUS having been forced to be rude in not being able to communicate!
I will post more later today, but wanted to celebrate by FINALLY being able to say, ‘HELLO!’

Oh, good, Linda! I was starting to get worried (and I don’t worry). I’m still getting over the bad summer cold I picked up while I was on vacation, so I’m glad to know you only had WordPress issues and that you’re doing well health-wise.

I’m doing fine, although Bri and I both had problems yesterday after eating. Both of us are better today. I’m sorry you started to worry. I’m still having to find the things that are different since changing to the new plan. It’s different, but I’ll get it. I’m so sorry you still have the cold. Those are SO hard to throw off. Rest as much as you can. It’s great to be in touch with you again.

Ah, the worry was truly on my part, Linda. I always am reminded by that still small voice to “trust” but sometimes I forget! Haha!
Yes, the cold is hanging on but I am a lot better than I was. Thankfully!
And yes, I am also thankful to be back in touch with you!

I’m trying to teach myself to only worry about things I can do something about. It’s hard, and I may croak before I truly can do that, but I’m working on it. It’s nice to have someone as nice as you starting to worry about me, though. So, thanks.

I’ve been so frustrated that I couldn’t explain what was happening. Even now, I’m trying to work with the changes that have occurred since I changed plans. I thought for awhile I couldn’t respond to comments! Then I found where it’s in a different place now. ARRGH!

I’m sorry you were worried. It’s wonderful ‘to be back!’ Brian is worth his weight in gold. The WordPress people had problems with our request, but came through in the end, thank goodness.

Oh yay! I was kind of afraid something had happened to you! I never got the “private” message, and I was getting behind in my blog reading so I figured maybe it was just that. So I just now went looking to see what I’d missed and was growing alarmed that I didn’t see any recent posts from you, then I managed to find this one. Congratulations on getting your retirement visa and Harvey’s medical visa. That has to be a huge relief! 😀

I changed my plan with my blog host and it took some time for them to get things back up. Some people were seeing ‘private’ instead of the regular blog look. Things are fine, otherwise. The visas were a huge thing, and I’m super relieved. Thanks for writing.
