Fohhide

These 3 pictures give you an idea of the view from the Fohhide Coffee shop.

Brian took me there after a depressing visit with Harvey, who didn’t really know us or any of his family. He thought Brian was his brother Bill. He knew I was his wife, but didn’t know my name. He told us the people there were trying to drown him.

SO – we really enjoyed the absolutely stunning view from the 5th floor of this building. The elevator was really old style, completely glass, and would only hold 2 people. I have to admit it gave me pause. That was until I saw the view. What a special place to show me! 😊

What a view. How far are those mountains? I wish I could send you a picture of our flower fields here. They grow the flowers for the bulbs. See if you can find Carlsbad Flower fields on the internet when you get things running this week.

  4. Rats! I hate that Harvey didn’t recognize you two. 😕But what an amazing view from the coffee shop! I think I would have been a bit scared to go in the elevator too, lol.

    • He DID recognize us yesterday, saying, “Hi, Bri” when we walked into his room. He also said, “I love you and I miss you” to me later. The rest of the visit was either complete gibberish or dream stuff, like an afghan hound and a white cat were sharing his bed…
Yes, the view was terrific from the coffee shop despite the scary ride up.😃
