All is good here, except we tire in record time and need lots of rest. Today we went to a used book store store. We went to the mall to open bank accounts, but found the bank wanted us to have permanent visas before they would open an account. The visa people had told our son we needed a bank account in order get the permanent visas. He is going to try to figure out how to get around the problem.
Meanwhile, he meets with the realtor for our condo at 3. He will come get me so I can see what will be our place in 3 weeks! YIPPEE!!!😄
I am going to rest a bit before that. We just enjoyed homemade chili with cheese and sour cream from our son’s friend’s wife😋
Feeling lucky to be alive, with our son, and starting a new life in Thailand
Very good . You share your new life live in Thailand by blog. You have many problems solve the new life.

Yes, your son is a dear, he will figure this out. Hopefully, it will be easily resolved. Perhaps he can add you to his bank account, or he can open a new one with you on it, simply as a bridge, to get the permanent visa.
Banks. Ugh.
Yippee about the condo! Love that you found a bookstore already!

You are so right! We are trying to adapt as quickly as we can, but old habits are hard to break and new ones hard to make.
We are gaining a bit of strength each day and shedding more of the jet lag. Today we shop for Skechers Step-ins give us more traction and make it easier to take our shoes off when we go inside any private area and then get them back on again.
