3am

We are in the indescribable airport of Doha, Qatar, waiting to board the next flight to Bangkok. I have decided I could easily get used to business class. We are still functioning after a 14 hour flight. Good food, bathroom close by, and stretching out with a pillow and great blanket are amazing. From Doha to Bangkok is another 6 hours, but I think we have business class on that, too 😁

      Happened apparently just as, or just after we took off from Bangkok. The pilot to Chiang Mai said the airport at Chiang Mai was closed and we were turning back to Bangkok. Then he came back on and said the Chiang Mai airport was open and we would continue. Total door to door trip was 48 hours. We are safe, but it will take awhile to get our bounce back 😛
