Right now it’s 77 degrees and quite dark and rainy. This is a huge relief this morning, so I’m grinning as I type. Bring it!

However, we got SO much rain overnight, with accompanying thunder, that we’re under both a ‘flood warning,’ and a ‘flash flood warning’ until around lunchtime.

To round things out, once the rain stops today, we’re under an ‘intense heat warning,’ with a heat index of up to 115 until 9pm this evening. It could be REALLY interesting if snow were added to the forecast for the day…
I’m really hoping they get our power back on before the scorching heat returns. Our electricity went out last night sometime around 11:30 and we have no idea when it will be back on. We have downed power lines and poles on the ground here where I live.

Wow. I’m so sorry, Lynn. So far, all I’ve seen around here is leaf clusters blown everywhere. The Amazon guy just delivered a package and was remarking about our driveway, though. I’d better get out and check. I hope they get your electricity back on SOON. Take care.

Thank you Linda. Unfortunately we just found out that it will more than likely be at least until Monday before they have our power back on.

Oh, no! I’m so sorry. Can you get out of there safely to somewhere with power?

My husband just left to borrow a generator for us to plug our refrigerator into and hopefully a fan or two.
