I love David Zinn’s art! I ordered a book by him and paid extra to have it signed. Then I tried to create some sidewalk chalk art in my back yard, with varying degrees of success, lol. Eventually it might make it to my blog. . .
I love it, too! I particularly love that he looks at a hole, weed, crack in a brick and ‘sees’ something we don’t. His talent in making it an art form is incredible, isn’t it? Congratulations on getting a signed book! I envy you. Thanks for writing.
Yes I like how he does that too. I do think it’s too bad that eventually rain will wash them away, unless they are able to treat them with something waterproof?
I think he thinks of it as people do who make sand sculptures or snow sculptures. They’re there for enjoyment for a time and then disappear. I wish someone would go behind him and treat his work. :0)
