I’m disappointed. There was an unbelievable video on Pinterest yesterday showing a gazillion hummingbirds swarming several feeders. I laughed aloud watching them. I copied the URL so I could share it with you today, but no matter what I did, the URL wouldn’t embed. I finally gave up. I wish I could have made it work. I’m sorry. :0(
Today is the day the people are demolishing the bridge between us and town. We need to call in a prescription and go get it today, so we’ll go the back way for the first time. It’s been awhile, so I’ll pay close attention to the turn-off on the way home. I don’t think there is even a street sign there. I’ll try to find a landmark. Meanwhile, I’ll try to reach someone at City Hall to see if I can find out a ballpark estimate of how long it will take to build the new bridge.
We’re due for some rain today (yeah, I know. JUST what we need). We’ll get our errands done and then batten down the hatches for the rest of the day.

Sounds like a great video, sorry. I have had problems with that before too. The baby’s face is cute though! Good luck wih the bridge construction.
They are calling for rain here and everyone is hoping for it!!! Opposite of you all, we need it, our grass is turning to hay. So i hope you don’t get it and that we do get it. 🙂 But yes, no matter what keep the sunshine in your heart. 🙂 Have a great day!

Thanks, Joy. We haven’t gotten the rain yet. We just got back from town. Of COURSE, with the sign saying ‘Road Closed’ and my reminder, my husband took us the regular way. He was smugger than smug when they hadn’t started the demo yet. When we got to the turn off to town, they were working on the road THERE, too, and THAT’S the back way we were going to take. One lane was open, though. I think someone might be trying to send us a message…
