Before the Storms

I’m afraid these will all be broken and battered after the storms, so wanted to share some of them with you.

This is our tulip tree. The photo doesn’t do it justice – it makes my heart lift just looking at all the hope and promise there.

    All the birds in my part of Maryland say spring is here. Can the birds be wrong? I think we’re being blessed with an early spring.

      Thanks, Christine. They might be from the same family. These blooms are quite fragile at the best of times. We’ll probably lose them in the storms tonight, but I just love it when I catch them just blooming.

      Thank you very much. We’re trying to get plants for the yard to come back each year by themselves, more each year. Each time they bloom, they bring me hope.
