Yesterday I told you how much I loved finally being able to get myself a 64-color box of Crayolas with a built-in sharpener, whether I create anything wonderful with my set or not. :0) I found some images of what some really creative people are doing with crayons and wanted to share them with you.

I had a great aunt when I was a teenager, who colored pictures with crayons and then ironed a piece of wax paper over them. They were gorgeous and she sold them framed for a pretty penny.

I think that’s called “Melted Crayons” and you can do some truly beautiful things with them. I’ve never tried it. Have you? Good for your great aunt!

I haven’t tried it and it was about 47 years ago when I saw her work. But I am going to try it now! I had forgotten all about it till I read your post. 🙂
