It’s Starting to Look Like Spring!

This is the view from the back of the house. We can see at least two distinct ridge line from atop ours AND pretend it’s all ours! Things are starting to green up around here!

This view is looking the other direction.

It seems I’ve been waiting forever for spring. I can feel my spirits rising!

    • I’m glad, Robin. I love to watch the seasons change. I also love the privacy we have up here. We’re close to town but don’t have to see anyone if we don’t choose to.

      • Our place was like that too until some out-of-towners bought the 5 acre property behind us for a hunting lodge and built a two story house less than a hundred feet from our door between us and the view.

        • Oh, I’m so sorry, Robin. Makes you wish you could shoot a missile through it, doesn’t it. We had an oil & gas company come, TAKE an acre of our land to build a gas well. We finally got some help from a former oil and gas guy who was embarrassed at our treatment. He stopped them from building a road across our land, parallel to the road that runs in front of our property, and got them to pay us damages, too. We found out the only rule for them is that they not build the actual well closer than 100 feet from our front door!
