This isn’t that great a photograph, but when I was taking the doggies out this morning, I was really struck by the beauty of the sun streaming through the clouds. This only lasted long enough for me to go back inside and grab my phone. It’s now overcast and we’re supposed to have rain the rest of the day and evening – a wonderful thing to help with the bad drought in our area.
I think it was Irene who suggested that I try emailing the photo to myself to get it off the phone. It worked! THANK YOU, Irene!

You are welcome, Linda. I use to do it this way.
We do also have draught here with only few drops of rain for months, which can bring up challenges, as we don’t wish for.

The drinking water quality in the town has been affected. The experts say it’ll be affected until we get enough rain to stop the drought. I think they said the lake from which the town gets its water is down over 16 inches.

Our water should be drinkable, but I don’t like the taste, so I buy water of good quality for both the animals and myself.
In South Spain they are close to restrictions now. I just heard today, that the water pipes in South Africa are closed by same reason. People can pick up water for drinking and not more. Very bad.

It’s a bit scary when we have water problems. Thankfully, we’re not having any problems getting bottled water for drinking here. Here’s hoping we ALL get some good, soaking rain soon.
