Here you see the post office on the left and the street department on the right.The main road between our place and Greenwood. (We drive down the main road coming from the top of this photo. You can’t see there is a road there at ALL.) You can see City Hall, the street department building next to it, the fire department building on the other side of that, the post office across the ‘street’ from those. Wow.
I was griping that WE were having all that rain, and before that, that we were unable to come down our driveway. Meanwhile, this was happening in Greenwood, with water rescues for some families who had water in their homes, businesses damaged, government facilities inundated, some roads damaged or washed away. Makes our problems seem really small.
