A New Favorite Bird

“Tawny Frogmouth” – Wikipedia.com

“The tawny frogmouth (Podargus strigoides) is a species of frogmouth native to and found throughout the Australian mainland and Tasmania. Tawny frogmouths are big-headed, stocky birds often mistaken for owls due to their nocturnal habits and similar colouring.” ~ Wikipedia.com

This is a new favorite bird for me because I put it into the category “So-Ugly-It’s-CUTE.” How could you not love something that looks like this?
