Maxi Tziasta has a shop on Etsy called, “Maxipatterns” She is selling cross-stitch patterns and instructions to create these images. I’m in awe of her artwork. I think these paintings are simply stunning, not to even mention cross-stitch.

Megan – The Woolen Wagon on Etsy
I’m simply awe-struck by Megan’s ability to take some wool and fashion it into not only something that resembles a dog, but captures the whole essence and flavor of the dog – different positions, different breeds, all life-like. Simply amazing.

We’re continuing our virtual trip to see the beautiful quilts in the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky.
Today we look at some of the quilts by Cynthia England.

I really find it difficult to believe these are quilts. These fiber artists are beyond amazing. I’m so glad that a museum celebrating this talent exists for people to enjoy. I’m delighted to be able to take a virtual tour, even if we can’t visit the place ourselves.

These would be gorgeous as paintings. THEY. ARE. QUILTS!

I love embroidery. I’m in awe of the people with the patience and talent to create things with needle and thread and vision. Katrin Vates, who I just discovered yesterday, brings the art form to a whole new level, though.

There are simply no words to describe this. Remember, these are created with a needle and thread.

I have seen the work of several skilled artists who have created beautiful pieces using felted wool, but Miru brings it to a whole new level. I find it hard to believe that these are not real animals. Just jaw-droppingly amazing.
