Today’s project will be a more thorough cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas.
We recently finished changing out the fluorescent tubes in the kitchen and pantry for LED tubes, requiring my husband to figure out how to remove the ballast transformers, bypass that system and rewire each fixture to accept the new tubes. I was the stalwart dogsbody, schlupping around finding tools, figuring out what he would need next and handing him stuff, receiving things and putting them ‘somewhere’ quickly, and most importantly, making him rest a bit and rehydrate and eat on some sort of regular basis. We changed out 1 two-tube fixture in the pantry and 3 four-tube fixtures in the kitchen. It took us two long days. There was a LOT of cleanup after this.
I do the ‘normal’ pickup, dishwasher, wipe-down, vacuuming stuff on a regular basis, but basically ignore a lot until I CAN’T anymore.

Today is the day I heal the area, or at least get a good start on it.
