Creativity of David Zinn

Harold has extra space available in his well of worries.
On Rainy Days Morton Sits and Thinks About all the Invisible Balls he tried to fetch.
Sheila is still adjusting to the pace of her walking companion.

David Zinn was a freelance commercial illustrator for more than twenty years until he picked out some sidewalk chalk to “work” outdoors on a beautiful day. Since then his work has appeared on streets around the United States and as far away as Taiwan, Sweden, Germany, France and Holland. He is the author of Temporary Preserves and Underfoot Menagerie and has been featured in The Guardian, Business Insider, and the Los Angeles Times, among others. Zinn lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.” ~ Google.com

Time for More David Zinn

David Zinn Art

“Mr. Zinn is known all over the world for the art he creates under his feet. David’s temporary street drawings are composed entirely of chalk, charcoal and found objects. His most frequent characters are Sluggo (a bright green monster with stalk eyes and irreverent habits) and Philomena (a phlegmatic flying pig), but the diversity of Mr. Zinn’s menagerie seems to be limited only by the size of the sidewalk and the spirit of the day.”
