These funny errors happen verbally, too. I remember my parents having a party at the house, inviting people from radio and TV in the city. Someone brought up the subject of “bloopers” on news, weather, and sports. The example given of someone’s favorite blooper was when the weather man was predicting winter weather and said, “And we’ll have ‘fleezing dizzle’ tonight.” One guy grimaced and said, “Oh, no! That was ME…”
