As with the probable A.I. orange critters, I’ve found that I treasure the creativity shown when people create decals that LOOK like stained glass and can be enjoyed by normal folks at affordable prices. Here are some examples – some ‘real’ stained glass – some decals –

I don’t usually like ‘decals’ of any sort. The ones I’ve found seem cheaply made, are difficult to use, and don’t last. I had to eat my words, though, when I found an image on Pinterest this morning that had me drooling before I found out the image wasn’t actually stained glass, but a decal.
I went to the Etsy site, Wender Aspire, and looked through the first page of their decals for sale. I looked at the comments and people were happy with their purchases. I thought they were amazing, and so share some of them with you here.
You can choose from several sizes size for your decal. I can’t personally vouch for the company or any details, but I think the artwork is stunning.

Christopher Jobson wrote a story for Colossal about Neile Cooper’s Stained Glass Sanctuary in Mohawk, New Jersey. On almost every flat space is one of Neile’s beautiful stained glass artworks.
I just can’t say enough about this. She built the cabin from recycled materials, then filled every space with a piece of stained glass.
I’m in awe of her talent. My husband and I have made some simple stained glass pieces. These are awe-inspiring, in that they are comprised of several pieces of glass with the design continuing, like a mural.
Creating the pieces shows incredible talent. THEN, putting them up in the cabin simply blows my mind.
I can only imagine how it all looks from the inside. I’m not sure I could ever leave.
