Snow Critters
Winter is my least favorite season, but I do love to see big, fluffy flakes coming down all around me, in my own private snow globe, catching the flakes on my tongue. My perfect snow is one that looks pretty, lets you say, “Awwww. How PRETTY!” and then melts. I also love to see the creativity people show when the create snow people or animals. Seeing the creativity and sense of humor people show when building a snowman never fails to lift my spirits.
When we were dating a hundred years or so ago, my husband and I built snow people in my parents’ front yard. While I was rolling snow to create a head for mine, my husband was busily creating additions for both of them. I laughed my head off when our snow couple had suddenly sprouted anatomical parts… fortunately, my parents saw the humor.

Well, Okay…
Some wise person said, ‘If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em,” or words to that effect. I just checked outside again, and the white stuff is clearly falling now. No accumulation on the ground yet, but you can easily see it’s snowing. Oh, joy.
Grudgingly this time, I’m sharing some more snow creations from really creative folks who obviously enjoy the snow more than I do right now. I truly love the imagination and humor shown, and delight when I find new examples. :0)
