I can’t believe this woman starts with balls of yarn and ends up with these works of art. I’ve watched videos, and people are taking fluffs of wool, using a needle to work them into the project. Just fascinating.

Maxi Tziasta has a shop on Etsy called, “Maxipatterns” She is selling cross-stitch patterns and instructions to create these images. I’m in awe of her artwork. I think these paintings are simply stunning, not to even mention cross-stitch.

It amazes me that Megan, from The Woolen Wagon on Etsy, creates these creatures with felted wool. She’s a master, for sure.

Beautifully detailed and intricate, you almost expect a head to turn and look at you.

This is cute (unless you really don’t like mice). I expect his nose to twitch. :0)

I’m simply awe-struck by Megan’s ability to take some wool and fashion it into not only something that resembles a dog, but captures the whole essence and flavor of the dog – different positions, different breeds, all life-like. Simply amazing.

We’re continuing our virtual trip to see the beautiful quilts in the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky.
Today we look at some of the quilts by Cynthia England.

I really find it difficult to believe these are quilts. These fiber artists are beyond amazing. I’m so glad that a museum celebrating this talent exists for people to enjoy. I’m delighted to be able to take a virtual tour, even if we can’t visit the place ourselves.

Thanks to a comment from Carol Janson, I’m researching the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky online, since I’m not able to actually visit in person. I thought that you might enjoy a virtual trip there, too.

“The National Quilt Museum, located in Paducah, Kentucky, is an art museum that exhibits fiber art and quilting from around the world. The museum is recognized by USA Today as one of the world’s top quilt displays.” ~ Wikipedia
Today I’m going to share some of the work of Susan Carlson.
