Curtis and Jordin are photographers by trade. Curtis is a sketch artist by hobby. He creates sketches that clearly show his love for his wife and children doing ordinary things. Sometimes the sketches make me cry – both from the actual sketch and what he SAYS about them.
I’ve done several posts about this couple. If you’re interested, please scroll down to Curtis Wiklund Sketches for US in the list of categories to the right of this post.

“Hard Night”
Curtis Wiklund and his wife Jordan are photographers. He also undertook a challenge to draw something every day, whether in the mood or not. He decided to chronicle their lives together, the good and the bad, the happy and sad, and he has done a stunning job of showing love in all its shapes and forms. I just love the simplicity of his drawings. He has a book out called “US” I bought it and it’s beautiful. He has continued his drawings, now including his children. His drawings continue to touch me, bringing out ‘aws,’ smirks, smiles, and a few tears.

“I Miss You”

“Meet My Family”

“My Wife is a Professional Painter”

“She’s Pretty”

Curtis and Jordin Wiklund are photographers from Michigan, specializing on couples who are in love.
Curtis also sketches as a hobby and challenged himself to produce a daily sketch blog recording his and Jordin’s life together. This has resulted in a book called US . I bought this book and occasionally gift myself the opportunity to look at the sketches once again. They are truly unique, with the love between them showing through loud and clear no matter what is going on that day.
Here is a sample of ones new to me –

Born to Swim

Boys’ Breakfast

Budgeting

Dinner and Kleenex

Drawing in Bed

My copy of the book of Curtis Wiklund’s drawings came recently. I’ve looked through it twice already. Whenever you doubt the power of love, just open this book to any page and your faith will be renewed. Curtis and Jordin Wiklund share a love that makes me cry. That love jumps off the page at you from his drawings and titles.

Also, you’ll love his website, where he lists the fact that he and his wife do wedding photography. There is a section of sketches from this book, but also new ones you’ll love.

I found an artist whose work makes me tear up and melt into a puddle. His name is Curtis Wiklund and he is actually a professional photographer. He and his wife, Jordan, live in Michigan. They are both professional photographers and can be hired to do wedding photos, etc. He sketches as a hobby, and challenged himself to do a sketch a day for a year while his wife did a photo challenge. He decided to do sketches of himself and his wife doing everyday things. The result is beautiful. The love flows through his sketches and wraps around you. I’m still tearing up after saving several sketches to share with you. You can find samples of his photos, information on hiring him and his wife, and sketches at Curtis Wiklund. You can purchase prints, the book of his sketches, called US (I just ordered it on Amazon), and more.
