This is the haircut I got today. I got him to give me a good cut for my recalcitrant hair, blow it dry, and NOT put any sprays or goop on me!

Latest painted sketch.

This is the jigsaw puzzle I’m working on. I think it’s gorgeous, but it does have a LOT of black on either side, across the bottom, and in the middle, making it hard to figure out what I’m working on.

Here’s what I’ve done so far. I’m going really slowly, but I don’t get any prizes for doing this quickly. ðĪŠ I’m having a good time.
We had a hard rain storm necessitating rolled up towels in the window sills and my bucket again this week, but I have all the towels dry now, ready to go into action again. The rainy season supposedly ends the first of November. I’ll be happy to see this season go. The building is supposed to be painted on the exterior in November or so, with repairs done to the outside, so I’m hoping my problem will get solved then.
I’m hoping you’re having a good day wherever you are and that things are going well.
Nice haircut x

oh, I love your new haircut, your elephant drawing/painting, and the progress of your puzzle. Itâs crazy about all the rain there. But as you said, it should be ending soon.

I’m glad you think the haircut is okay. It sure is easy to take care of. It makes me feel good you like the elephant sketch/painting. I AM finally making some progress on the puzzle. I seem to have a gift for choosing really difficult ones, or maybe I’ve just lost the knack of working them more quickly. I still have a lot of fun. It’s a good challenge, too.

it is an easy hairstyle for sure, Linda! I take easy and comfortable over anything else these days too!
And in the heat, rain, etc. there?!? Yes indeed itâs perfect!
oh the puzzles are wonderful for brain development (neural plasticity). I love the pictures you choose – no matter how long they take.

My hairstyle got a workout this morning, with me pulling a sweatshirt on and off at the hospital. It’s what I need here. I’m glad you like the puzzles I choose. I just love the pictures. I figure that’s necessary with as long as I live with them while trying to put them together – and THEN getting a glass print to display if (when!) I finish them. ðĪĢ

so true, Linda. On all points!
I hope you have a sweet visit with Harvey today.

Thanks. The visit today was stressful with doctors and nurses coming and going, stressing out our poor son who was trying to understand medical stuff in Thai and answer questions. Harvey was feeling better, though he almost didn’t say anything the whole time we were there. He was discharged to go back to the nursing home this afternoon – another good thing.

Wonderful news, Linda! Understand the stress, but Harvey has more TIME and that should ease all the stressâĶ
