James Natoli from BossJunkArt on Etsy is a man after my husband’s and my hearts – creating critters who make you smile from tools, random parts, other found objects. I love these sweet critters.

So cute! Those are things my dad and grandfather would have made, too. 😀

My husband and I have had such a wonderful time making the ‘critters’ that live in our yard. It’s so much fun to use what might be considered ‘trash’ and repurpose it to create a critter that makes someone else smile. If we keep practicing, maybe we can strive to get better and better with ours. It’s nice to see the work of a master.

That’s fun that you make them together as a team. 😀

We used to frequent scrap metal yards, salvage yards, etc. to find wonderful ‘stuff.’ Now with liability issues, the yards won’t allow us to come in and browse, so it’s really hard to find ‘parts’ for the critters. If you have the time, you can see some of our stuff under “Lewis Metal Critters Gallery’ at the top of the blog. I wish I could have met your dad and grandfather.
