Tomato Harvest July 1, 2019

I’m feeling spoiled and rich after going out to check on our tomato plants this afternoon.

We’re enjoying sharing one or two (depending on their size) for lunch and again for dinner each day. I already feel that our crop has been worth every penny we paid for plants, cages, food, bug spray, bone meal, etc.  How could one feel down when looking at such a beautiful sight!

  1. Nice Tomatoes, we are just starting to get red cherry tomatoes. I transplanted 2 Hosta’s (Leafy Shade Plants) today which were getting over crowded and put them in a new spot.

    • Thanks, Shawn. I just love fresh, ripe tomatoes. Good for you on the cherry tomatoes. I love them in salads, plus it’s great fun to throw them in your mouth, bite down, and enjoy the squirting sensation. :0) Hostas are gorgeous plants. I’m glad you’re giving them plenty of room.
