I caught this picture of Molly (left) and Amber (right) last night. It didn’t last long, but it shows the sweet doggies are learning to tolerate one another – at least for short periods of time.
Molly would prefer to be on the rug now while Amber is in her “place,” but progress is being made.
Smoke continues to taunt Amber – confident she can leap up or sprint out of range. Abby continues to hiss really loudly, but isn’t frantic to get outside now.

Beautiful puppies! 🙂

Thank you! Molly is about 12 years old now and is NOT amused by the new lab puppy who acts like a bull in a china shop. They’re working it out day by day.

Haha, aw! I could understand Molly’s thoughts on that. Maybe that was a sort of treaty; they share the bed and be nicer to one another. Hehe, that’s good news! 😉 What kind of dog is Molly?

Molly is a cocker spaniel, schnauzer cross. She’s a very happy dog, unless she is being dive bombed by the exuberant Amber.

When we first got Molly, it was to give our pit bull, Bambi, a happiness boost. He was really serious and needed to lighten up. Molly is so happy, she’s just what we all needed. Now it’s HER turn to be cheered up…

Aw, hahaha! Y’all have picked out some great names for your pets, by the way. 😉 I guess we all get a little bit moody and need some cheering up; maybe she’ll be cheered up soon too. 😀

I hope so. Right now, she seems to be resigned to the new puppy not going away. This is an improvement from freaking out and baring her teeth.

Me too! Ah, I gotcha. A sure improvement it is. Maybe she’s one more step closer to enjoying her new companion. 😉
