Yesterday I planted the rest of the flowers on the deck and around the yard. It’s a good thing I pushed myself to get them in because, as predicted, it started storming overnight. It’s still really rainy-looking and dark outside, and more rain is forecast.
We love geraniums, and my husband likes the red ones best. We have two of these on the deck now.
Here you see two of the four pots of mandevilla, the hummingbird bird bath, and a pot with two colors of petunias.
More petunias, plus our metal flower in the background.
Petunias surround our emu planter, shovel bird feeder, and our ‘party animal’ penguin.
Petunias, geranium, and nice view.
I have some small pots of hummingbird flower seeds growing on the dining table. If they live, I’ll transplant them in several bunches out on the deck, nestled in with the other flowers to welcome the hummingbirds.

You have such beautiful flowers, Linda 🙂
It is also raining here.

All the rain makes it hard to get much done outside, doesn’t it? Thanks for your kind words about the flowers, Irene. I hope all the work you did recently in your garden is giving you pleasure now.

Thank you Linda. I just hope, that the weeds are not going to much crazy between the stones, as I have almost all over in my garden. This is tough to clean.

Ooh. I hear you on how tough it is to keep weeds from growing up between the stones! I hope you can keep up the fight with them.

I ended getting through all of it in last week, so I don’t feel like starting all over again 😉

I hate weeds. They’re so relentless. Hopefully, you can take a break and then tackle them again later.

Last time I used about 2-3 weeks to come through it all.
Maybe you should see the last post, as I made….. 🙂

I remember a post about weeding in your garden, but I guess I missed the fact that it took you two to three weeks to get it done. That’s a lot of work. I hope it’ll stay done for awhile now. You need to rest. Are you feeling better now?

Thank you Linda and yes, I do feel better. We have plain stones here, where there are cement between them, but some holes for trees, which have been growing much since, they were planted many years ago. So the roots break the stones and the cement, so not so plain any longer and space for the weeds.

Can you spray a homemade weed killer in the cracks?

Yes, I do make a mix of much sea salt boiled in water, which I use the worst places with fx grass, which can be almost impossible to take out.

Oh, that’s good. You’re a smart lady.

Thank you, salt is only poison in concentrated amounts, so I take care not to use it, where I wish something to grow.
