Pepe and Penelope – Lewis Mailbox Decoration

Two of our favorite cartoon characters growing up were Pepe LePew and the love of his life, Penelope the cat. Doing this decoration brought back fond memories and lots of smiles.  This is the front of the decoration.  It’s welded to a cross bar that is welded to the bar with holes in it that allows us to attach it to the mailbox with nuts and bolts. The piece is about 2 feet tall and a little less wide.

This is the back of the decoration. You can see where I tried to paint the bar so that it melted into the bottom of the design as much as possible.
